This story would look into the investigation that Mail Online has had on Snopes. This was on their front page revealing details about their financial misbehaviour as well as during this exposure special,it has also branded Snopes as a bad if not fake fact checker with the speech marks on words such as "fact checker" and "facts" suggesting that they don't trust that what they do is considered fact checking.
In my opinion I think that this is an attempt from Mail Online to try and look good with the Public. This would be because this may be a PR stunt to try and make Snopes look bad as they probably might have revealed something that is considered fake which might explain why Mail Inline decided to fire back.
