Weekly Stories: #DeleteUber: how social media turned on Uber

#DeleteUber began trending this weekend as the company lifted surge pricing during protests at JFK airport.

This story focuses on the negative controversy that Uber has faced after not offering a strike on the JFK Airport Muslim Ban.

In my opinion I think that it would be bad for Uber to not allow for a strike when many other businesses are also doing so. This would be because people may see this as a lack of freedom of speech. This would then mean that people have understandably decided to delete their App in an act of rebellion against their decision to not strike.
